Fortunately for all concerned, despite the fact that all she could see was the inside of a tin of Whiskas, the cat somehow managed to find her way to the doorstep of an animal rescue centre in Fife - where the can was safely removed. As Colin Seddon, the manager of the Dunfermline centre, wisely put it: 'Luckily no damage was done, and the little cat was very pleased to be freed from the discomfort that comes with having your head stuck inside a tin can.'
